Full Maniple Strength
A Reman "Maniple" concists of 2 full Centuries of 80 Legionaries each. One Soldier carries the "Manus" (open palm standard). This is the smallest independent force within the Legion. Maniples may be detached from the Legion in order to engage in small skirmishers or defense duties that do not require the full 6000 men of the Legion.
In addition; Onagers, Equites, & Archers may also be attached to the Maniple for support and scout roles.
Three Maniples for a single Cohort. This Maniple is a part of the 1st Cohort; the Tribune General and the Aquilifer Eagle Standard have both join the first cohort. They are in parade formation on the Field of Mars within a small City Forum.
